Dr. Lisa Zaleski-Larsen, DO, FAAD, ABVLM Dipl.

Dr. Lisa Zaleski-Larsen is a board-certified dermatologist with more than thirteen years of clinical experience spanning medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She is fellowship-trained in cosmetic dermatology and holds a second board certification in Venous and Lymphatic Medicine, providing specialized expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease, including varicose veins.

Through Zaleski-Larsen, PLLC, Dr. Zaleski-Larsen provides medical and cosmetic dermatology analysis, expert reports, and testimony for legal counsel in complex dermatology litigation. She offers clear, well-reasoned medical analysis, timely communication, and the ability to explain complex dermatologic issues in an accessible manner to judges and juries.

Dr. Zaleski-Larsen graduated with honors as a member of Sigma Sigma Phi from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, followed by dermatology residency training at Naval Medical Center San Diego. She subsequently completed advanced fellowship training in cosmetic dermatology at Cosmetic Laser Dermatology in San Diego, California.

A United States Navy veteran, Dr. Zaleski-Larsen served as Senior Medical Officer aboard the USS Gunston Hall (LSD-44) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and anti-piracy operations off the coast of Eastern Africa, and later as the sole military dermatologist at Naval Hospital Okinawa, Japan, serving a patient population of more than 189,000.

She has served as a clinical preceptor for Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and Western University of Health Sciences, and previously held the rank of Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, has authored and edited dermatology textbook chapters, published twenty articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, and presented at national medical conferences.
